The Pretty Reckless has just been announced to play on May 12 at ‘Notting Hill Arts Club’ in London. Other bands as: The Foxes, Sweet Jane, Katy Predo and the Mamboleros were announced to join on stage with ‘Pretty Reckless’. Go Go, Recklesses! =).

Stupid rumours are spreading on the web that Taylor is already in London to play at the event, but it’s fake! Taylor and her band will play at the National Wanna Play Music Week starting tomorrow in Hollywood, Los Angeles before flying to London. The Pretty Reckless, rock band fronted by Taylor Momsen, promote National Wanna Play Music Week, May 3-7, Hollywood’s srightest stars shine in support of making music. ‘Gossip Girl’ star encourages people of all ages to experience the fun and benefits o playing music.

The band was announced today by the National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) as an official spokesgroup of National Wanna Play Music Week, May 3-7. Taylor Momsen, one of the stars of the CW’s hit show, “Gossip Girl,” makes her musical debut this year as the lead singer and songwriter of the The Pretty Reckless. The group appears on the lead single “Make Me Wanna Die” from the soundtrack for the action/comedy film “Kick-Ass” which opens in theatres on April 16, and will be appearing at every show on the annual Vans Warped Tour this summer.

“National Wanna Play Music Week is an especially exciting time for me, as my band also prepares for the release of our first album this year,” said Momsen. “We signed on as a Wanna Play campaign spokesgroup to promote the importance of music making and to share my own story of how playing and performing music has positively impacted my life, both personally and professionally.”

Kicking off National Wanna Play Music Week, Momsen will be inspiring a new generation to make music as she and her band mates work with students on board the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus - the state-of-the-art mobile recording studio where The Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Natasha Bedingfield and many more A-list artists have recorded tracks.

Acording to our visitor Ben, she only sang a clip of one song because she was sick. SICK? OMG!! We hope that all is good with your health Taylor! <3. BMI Presents: Industry Insider - “How I Produced The Record”, a panel with top music producers to discuss their many roles including controlling a recording session, overseeing musicians, mixing and mastering and more. The event will feature special performances by the artists the panelists produce. The cost for the event is $10 advance, $12 day of show.

BFFs, I’m live from Fashion Week and loved Jill Stuart’s new collection, which was very Gossip Girl.

In fact Jill Stuart had two Gossip Girls in her front row, Michelle Tractenberg and Jessica Szohr , who watched her runway full of minis-to-the-max, over-the-knee boots and short-fitted ruched dresses. Jill admitted she was inspired by Gossip Girl, which her 14-year-old daughter loves to watch, but when I asked her which celebrity she most wanted to wear her clothes, she answered: “Taylor Momsen!” So Taylor, you’re already in oversized short jackets and thigh-high minis — it would be a marriage made in fashion heaven!
