Actress-turned-model Taylor Momsen has revealed that Madonna’s daughter reminded her of her little sister.

The 17-year-old Gossip Girl star is the face of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes’ new Material Girl clothing collection and she said she was shocked the Queen of Pop had chosen her.

Momsen told J-14 magazine: ‘I didn’t believe it. I was like, ‘Shut up. Stop it. What are you talking about?’ I was super-excited. It’s a really huge compliment and an honour to work with Madonna.’

Asked what the superstar was like to work with, Momsen said: ‘She is super-down-to-earth. She is a very cool chick, which is very nice to see. She’s Madonna!’

She added that Madonna’s 13-year-old daughter Lourdes was also fun to work with.

She said: ‘She reminded me a lot of my little sister. She’s 13 and my sister’s 13. She is a very sweet girl. She has great fashion sense, so it was actually a pleasure.’
